Using the Schoolday free beta

These terms explain the current free service. By using Schoolday, you agree to use it responsibly and to check important information with the official source.

Current service

Schoolday is provided as a free beta for parents and carers. There is no paid subscription or guaranteed service level at present. Features and availability may change, and the beta may be paused or withdrawn.

Menus, weather and reminders

Schoolday summarises third-party information that can change or occasionally be wrong or unavailable. Always check important meal, closure and timetable information with the school or council.

Food-preference indicators are planning aids, not allergy, nutrition or medical advice. Confirm ingredients and dietary suitability directly with the school before relying on a meal choice.

Your device and information

You are responsible for information entered on your device and for access to that device. Clearing browser data, changing browser or replacing a device may remove locally saved profiles. Schoolday does not currently provide cloud backup or recovery.

Responsible use

Do not misuse, interfere with, probe or attempt to gain unauthorised access to Schoolday or its hosting. Do not use the service to infringe another person’s rights or to break the law.

Future paid access

Paid plans may be introduced later. If that happens, pricing, billing period, cancellation rights and the paid-service terms will be shown clearly before anyone subscribes. Current free access does not promise permanent free access.

Your legal rights

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable UK consumer rights.
